The faithfulness of God

What can I say about the faithfulness and goodness of God?

  • He has provided more opportunities for me to see how I can trust HIM with everything in my life - finances, men, living situation, past hurts, schooling, and other heart issues...
  • He is showing me areas that I didn't realize that I needed to hand over to Him for Him to take complete control over...
  • The joy that comes from knowing Him and being in HIS love, my heartbeat is HIS heartbeat...

Doesn't everyone want that?

Happy February!

So it's ALREADY in February! How are things going with your health goals? How are we being consistent?  I have to admit that I have NOT been very consistent with my exercise; however, been pretty good on the nutrition. The Super Bowl of course DID NOT HELP me stay on program, but it wasn't a total loss (sorry 49ers - my team!) :( But this is a new day and a new month. If you, including myself, have "fallen off the wagon" or not been consistent with either exercise or the nutrition, we pick ourselves back up and keep going. Keep putting forth that effort. What I am being consistent on is not just nutrition, but logging in my food and exercise in my fitness journal (found a Wal-Mart for $5! ). Happy New Year!!!

  Yes, it's been a LONG time since I posted anything!! December was a rough month - lemme tell you!!! Between being sick, the holidays, trying to get ready for a trip, take the trip, and come back - WHIRLWIND!! But this does NOT excuse the fact that I did not post!! Shame on me! I am working on getting better at that, I promise! Here are some of the highlights, since I last wrote: I was able to buckle the seatbelt in the airline seat, which I haven't been able to do in YEARS! After being on disability for 7 years, I interviewed with the VA Hospital in Lexington, KY - I'm still waiting to hear about that position. I do know they are doing reference checks right now! :) I found a house that I am absolutely in love with in KY, should I get the position, I would love to be able to put an offer on this perfect house for my son and I I am FINALLY in the 250's after being back and forth between 262-265 for SEVERAL MONTHS at a time Having a better relationship with my son, as h...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

 Can you believe that it's FINALLY 2021?!?!?!?!?!  YYYYEEEESSSS!!!!  I am praying and hoping that each of you had a wonderful Christmas with family/friends.  There are so many different feelings ... excitement, wonder, determination, mentally ready to get going on my goals for this year!  What are you most looking forward to for this year? These are just some of the habits that I plan to implement - and believing in myself that I can accomplish my goals this year - to lose 80+ lbs this year and gain lean muscle. I am also implementing reading at least 10 pages of a personal development book of some sort - working out daily - drinking my gallon of water daily - and eating on my meal plan with NO treat meals.  What are YOUR goals for this year? What do you want to accomplish for yourself? How can I help you get there?
